More from the masquerade

The absolute House of Masquerade seemed the perfect place to try out my new camera and I was lucky enough to rope a couple of others into the vlog too. As the photos probably show, it was an amazing evening, fuelled my ridiculous amounts of booze and topped off with sparkly clothes, great music and lots of sweets. My only regret is not meeting more bloggers after bumping into Miss Woo on the way in and pretty much attaching myself to her for the night, whether she liked it or not!

Apologies in advance for both the truly hideous quality of the vlog. While I do have an amazing little camera - Kodak Zi6 which was very kindly sent to me - the rubbish editing software which comes with my laptop crashes every time a clip is moved or cut. Thus a 6 minute video has taken several frustrating days to make and has been impossible to edit in any way. The sound is also way out of sync, though I think that creates a slightly drunk feeling in the viewer which actually captures the night quite well. Basically, I need to get a Mac.

I must admit that it is a very strange experience to watch oneself getting increasingly drunk over the course of an evening. It's quite funny how at the start I'm moaning about the lack of free drinks, and by the end I can hardly speak properly, am trying on half the shop and spilling my drinks on the floor. Oh dear.

As this new trend for vlogs seems to have kicked off a spate of negative commenters - I know I'm a terrible drunk, I know it's unedited and the sound is awful and I KNOW I have wonky teeth. I am British. It's what we do.
