Given that I went absolutely crazy for the last big spate of Topshop's designer collaborations - Schwab, Nicholl and Saunders dresses all vie for space in my wardrobe - it's strange that since then I haven't been keeping on op of them at all. Stranger still that Ann-Sofie Back - not a favourite designer but one whose outlook I admire - should bring out a Topshop collection in this season's LACE (bored of it yet?) and I don't even notice.

On a quick and solitary jaunt around Topshop last weekend I noticed Back's collection. This 'cowl dress' was my favorite piece. The strappy arm details are subtle yet set the dress apart from other lace offerings on the high street. Whether they're worth the extra cash probably depends on whether you have it just lying around. Personally I'd rather invest in something that's not such a ubiquitous 'trend', but I'll definitely have my eye on Ann-Sofie Back's LFW show later today.

You are right about the ubiquitous 'trend', i would only purchase this if i had the extra cash lying around or i really loved it.
looks great on you though!
Hey, Chanelle from Awear here. Just thought I'd drop by to let you know I've had to change URL's, I'm at aussiesagainsttrackies.wordpress.com now.
...those arm straps are heaps cool! They'd rip so quickly though...
This dress is outrageaously original and amazing. Love the black lace !
My love for lace lace has not faded yet (surprisingly!) so I am quite in love with that dress. It looks really darling on you!
That dress looks fantastic on you! I love the lace detailing on the arm. I wish there was a Topshop in Atlanta, but I guess one opening up in NY this November is a good start.
The arm detail is UNREAL. I would get the dress just because of that...haha
the "sleeve" detail is so great on that dress. if only topshop prices weren't so expensive in the US...
it looks so good on you
ooo the sleeves are fabulous, maybe diy-able too? i liked her previous ts collection a little bit more, i remember an oversized dress with triangle patches on an old wish list, will be saving that as an ebay search!
That lace dress looks great on you!
I love that dress on you and I havnt indulged in the lace trend yet so its not old to me yet!
Hard to tell but the hem looks lovely at least! I think you chose the best out of the collection.

love the arm detail! otherwise though, i do agree - it would be kind of the obvious lace choice if the shoulder & arms didn't add a little extra..
I'm with Lisa Renee, that detail would sell me in an instant. It looks GOOD on you.
Love that dress.
Your hair is amazing. I love that look.
Mark.
you look super gorgeous in that, and agree mark, ur hair is amazing
yeah, the arm detail is really if you've got a place you're set to debut the dress, and want to stand out from all the other lacey dresses there'll surely be there. It looks great on you, though
I think I'm tiring of it already but that dress does look great.
It's my favourite of the selection. It's abit less in your face, lace.
I think this is beautiful. I didn't see this mini dress version online. Love ann-sofie.
